Dutch Design Award

The Dutch Design Awards (DDA) are a series of prestigious awards held annually, to honour outstanding Dutch designs in a number of categories, such as communication, product and spatial design. Each year an international jury of design experts are selected to evaluate the submitted products according to a set criterion, such as quality, functionality and degree of innovation.

 

Design is recognised as an important factor for the success of a product at a much earlier stage in the design process, and constitutes the bridge between advanced technology and intuitive ease of use.

Hokwerda Award

The Hokwerda Award is presented once every two years in recognition of achievements in the improvement of professional practice and working conditions in the field of dental care.

 

The award is named after Prof.drs. O. Hokwerda who has worked towards healthier working conditions since 1965. Through research and education, he has made significant contribution to improving the design of equipment and procedures in the dental community.
